Some difficulties of studying aboard

Studying aboard has been of an increasing popularity year by year, both due to chrildren and parents' pursueing for better education and certificate. However, there must be some difficulties when being put in a unfamiliar surroundings and personaly speaking, the most considerable factors sould include adaption to lifestyle, language overcoming, as long as proper attitude toward both home country and staying nation.

For a large propotion of overseas, the very first significant difficulty they're about to confront with is accomodation problem, which means take care of their food and housing work. Especailly for some boys, they've never cooked before they go aboard! Generally, this changes in life are considered encouraging a youngster to grow up, be mature enough to live a independent living as an adult. At the same time, parents should hold a trust in their chrilden rather than flying over or send neccessities time to time because living freely at the age around 18 is warmly appreciated by the youths.

Another aspect that is widely controverted is language improvement. Away from home country tertiary study, these young men are sent for an unforgettable reason of learning a second language well. With the command of an extra laguage, it is out of the question that one is more competitive no matter in school or after graduated, into working place.

Moreover, culture shock worried many students all the time. How to react when others praise you for your work or even the appearance? Shall I be moderate or openly acccept the compliment? Due to different attitude education since elementary school, it's usually shocking to enter a society full of counterparts living in a totally different way. More often than not, overseas are suggested to listen and ask. By observing the people and school system together with inquiring for the vague, one could be involved in the new society faster and properer.

Being an oversea student, I can feel surprsing and worried simultaneously. It sounds more comportable if one could create his own way to adjust himself to the challenging environment and reduce all the language and culture disturbances to the minimum, so that one could study more efficiently and happily.
